My favorite Gnome shell extensions
In no particular order:
- AppIndicator and KStatusNotifierItem Support
- This adds status icons to the top bar, which is vital for Nextcloud and messaging apps
- Blur my Shell
- Adds blur to different parts of Gnome. Makes the desktop look more elegant overall
- Clipboard Indictator (Tudmotu)
- A simple and configurable clipboard manager in the top bar
- Fullscreen Notifications
- GTK Title Bar
- Remove the title bar for apps under certain conditions. I have mine set to hide when a window is fullscreen.
- Hide Top Bar
- Hides the top bar under certain conditions. I have mine set to hide when a window is fullscreen or is taking up space
- Just Perfection
- Exposes a lot of small & specific settings, such as the size of icons in the dash
- Quick Close in Overview
- Close windows with a middle-click when in the overview
- User Themes
- Enables user-customization of the shell theme
- Material You Theming
- Generates a libadwaita theme from the wallpaper
- Coverflow Alt-Tab
